By placing an order with us, you are agreeing to accept these terms and conditions (The Conditions).

Please note, these terms and conditions can potentially change at any time, and it is up to you to check these terms and conditions regularly before ordering products in case there are any changes. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions set out below, you should not place an order.

1. General Information

The following terms and conditions will apply between you and Auto Bionics Limited when you buy wheels from www.autobionics.co.uk. The terms do not affect your statutory rights.

  • Your contract for purchases made through orders@autobionics.co.uk is with Auto Bionics Limited and you undertake that all goods ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only and are not for resale unless prior agreement with Auto Bionics Ltd has been granted on a case-by-case basis.

  • You warrant that all details you provide to Auto Bionics Limited for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are true, accurate, current, and complete in all respects.

  • You agree that e-mail can be used as a long-distance means of communication.

  • Auto Bionics Limited reserve the right to end our agreement without notice to you if:

    • you fail to make payment to us when due

    • you breach any of our terms and conditions

    • when requested by us to do so, you fail to provide within a reasonable time frame, enough information to let us to check the accuracy and validity of any information supplied by you, or your identity.

    • we suspect you have engaged, or are about to engage, or have way of being involved in fraudulent or illegal activity on Auto Bionics Ltd.

2. Your responsibilities if you break these Conditions

You agree that if you break these Conditions, or any liabilities are incurred, you will be responsible for the costs and expenses we or our officers, directors and employees incur as a result of the breach, including reasonable legal fees (if applicable).

3. Ordering

  • When placing an order, you agree that any and all information given is accurate and complete.

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.

  • No contract for the sale of any product will exist between you and Auto Bionics Ltd until we accept your order by receiving a deposit and by placing a confirmation with our manufacturing partners. When this happens, we will confirm the acceptance by sending you an email.

  • This confirmation email will be sent to the email address given when you placed your order and will detail products ordered, payment, cost (including VAT and any further P&P) and usual delivery times.

  • You must check all the details on this confirmation email are correct and contact us as soon as possible if any details are incorrect.

  • If your order has not been accepted, you will receive an email from us telling you the reasons why.


4. Delivery

  • It is our preferred option for your order to be collected from Auto Bionics Ltd.’s business address. If this isn’t possible, any subsequent shipping will be at an additional cost to the purchase price.

  • We aim to cover all areas with our delivery service, but unfortunately it cannot be guaranteed in certain areas. These include Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly, the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

  • The delivery period stated by our sales team on order confirmation is approximate.

  • If your delivery address is outside of the UK, you may have to pay import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note, customs policies vary widely from country to country. We recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.

  • Please note international shipments may be subject to cross-border inspections by customs authorities.

 
5. Payment

  • Prices quoted are based on UK collection from Auto Bionics Ltd premises. For non-UK deliveries local tax will apply and the price may be adjusted.

  • Auto Bionics Ltd only accept payment by Bank transfer with funds clearing before order acceptance. Full details will be provided on your purchase invoice.

  • A non-refundable deposit will be required on order placement. The balance of the order will be due prior to collection or dispatch.

6. Cancelling an Order

  • The wheels you are purchasing are custom built. The wheels are not kept in stock as inventory and are specifically manufactured for you when the order is placed. Once an order is placed, it is non-cancellable and your deposit is non-refundable, as you are entering into a signed agreement with our company. Once you receive your invoice, you have 24 hours to make any revisions. If we do not receive any written communication reflecting changes within 24 hours, we assume that the order is correct. It will then go into production as-is. If no communication is received prior to the 24-hour grace period, you are in essence confirming that you will fulfil your obligation to purchase these wheels as specified in the invoice. Under no circumstances can an order be returned. We do not guarantee delivery time. As stated, these are custom built wheels and can take long periods of time to produce depending on the circumstances. We give you an estimated time of delivery, however, we cannot guarantee it.

  • Once we've heard from you that you wish to cancel an order after the 24hr period, any deposit sum debited to us from you will be retained to cover your cancellation and associated manufacturing costs and logistics. Auto Bionics Ltd reserve the right to resell your cancelled order.

7. Returns & Exchanges Procedure

  • We're sorry but we are not able to offer exchanges on orders.

  • We do not have a returns policy on made to order, custom components.

8. Product guarantees and warranties

  • All product warranties and guarantees are provided solely by the product manufacturers and the UK importers. If you have a claim under warranty, the moment you contact us we will act on your behalf to pursue your warranty claim. On most occasions’ products deemed faulty under warranty will need to be returned to either ourselves or the manufacture/importer for further inspection, but this will be done in the quickest time possible and treated as a matter of urgency. All warranty claims must be accompanied by an original invoice and proof of purchase and must be discussed with us before goods are returned. In the unlikely event that warranty claim is not deemed valid, we will not be liable for any costs incurred and we will not accept liability for any costs incurred throughout a claim for labour and/or other related charges. Warranty and Guarantee are voided in the event that products have been modified or have been sold on to a third party. The warranty and Guarantees lie solely with the first user.

  • Please Note: Alloy Wheels that have been damaged by ‘kerbing’ or incorrect tyre or wheel fitment are not covered.

  • The paint finish must not be cleaned with strong chemical cleaning agents and or solvents. Domestic hot water and soap solution is recommended.


9. Contract cancellation

  • You can cancel this contract if you so wish, provided that you exercise your right to do so within fourteen working days after the day you place your order. All conditions laid out in the section 8. Product guarantees and warranties apply.


10. Privacy

  • Auto Bionics Ltd will not pass on your personal details to any third party.


11. Dispute Resolution

  • If you have a dispute with Auto Bionics Limited, we’ll always try to sort things out if you contact us.


12. Liability

  • We do not accept liability (except as set out below) for any errors and/or omissions contained in our social media posts and reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services at any time and without notice.

  • If an error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price. In the event that you order an item and the price published on our social media is incorrect for any reason, we will email you to inform you that we have not accepted your order, and that your order has been cancelled. You will be advised of the correct price of the subject product. You may re-order it if you wish. If you have already paid for the goods in the circumstances described in this clause, we shall refund the full amount within 30 days of the date of order. Should you choose to re-order at the correct price, a separate transaction will be posted to you.

  • In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, we shall make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace or repair any damaged or defective goods in question provided that you notify us of the problem in writing at the address stated in the confirmation email within 14 working days of delivery of the goods plus return the goods to us, unless we inform you that return is not necessary. This provision does not affect your statutory rights.

  • We have taken every measure to provide accurate product images for the wheel for sale. However, due to a number of different factors such as Internet browsers, monitor colour contrasts etc, we cannot be held responsible or liable for any differences in colour between the image and the actual product.

  • The products sold by Auto Bionics Ltd are provided for private domestic and consumer use only. Accordingly, we do not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss of damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of any products or services purchased from Auto Bionics Ltd.

  • We have taken every measure to prevent Internet fraud and ensure any data collected from you is stored as securely and safely as possible. However, we cannot be held liable in the extremely unlikely event of a breach in our secure computer servers.

  • We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, pandemics, governmental actions and any other similar events.

  • We make no warranty that our social media will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, and accuracy. We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through our social media platforms.

  • To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, we disclaim any and all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Products. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your Contract Cancellation Rights.

  • We will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the conditions for:

    • Any economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or

    • Any loss of goodwill or reputation; or

    • Any special or indirect losses suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under the Conditions.


13. Copyright

  • All rights, including copyright are owned or controlled by Auto Bionics Limited. In accessing Auto Bionics social media, you agree that you may only download the content for your own individual and non-commercial use. You are not permitted to copy, broadcast, download, store (in any medium), transmit, show or play in public, adapt or change in any way the content for any other purpose whatsoever without the prior written permission of Auto Bionics Limited.


14. Third Party Information

  • We cannot be held responsible for material displayed on third party websites or any other written material. The only prices that apply for Auto Bionics Limited products are those stated on the Auto Bionics material. We cannot vouch for the reliability of prices stated by any other third party.


15. Waiver

  • No waiver by us shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.

 
16. Survival

  • Each provision of the Conditions shall be construed as separately applying and surviving even if for any reason one or other of those provisions is held to be inapplicable or unenforceable in any circumstances.


17. Entire agreement

  • These Conditions govern our relationship with you. Any changes to these Conditions must be in writing and signed by both parties. In this way, we can avoid any problems surrounding what Auto Bionics Ltd and you are expected to do. You confirm that, in agreeing to accept the Conditions, you have not relied on any representation except where that representation has been made a term of these Conditions and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any representation. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions. Nothing in this Clause shall limit or exclude our liability in respect of any fraudulent or negligent misrepresentation whether or not such has become a term of the Conditions.


18. Law

  • The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

19.Receiving your products

  • Please make sure that all your parts on the invoice are supplied. Check the condition of the wheels and report any damage before fitting the wheels as we are unable to assist you once they have been fitted to the vehicle or have had tyres fitted to them. All the wheels are Quality Control checked prior to dispatch and are deemed in perfect new condition.

20. Installation

  • Auto Bionics Ltd always recommend that you have a garage or wheel specialist to fit wheels for you, but if you are fitting them yourself please observe these guidelines.

  • Trial fit ALL wheels, checking that the front and rear wheels do not foul on any part of the brakes, suspension, or body work. DO NOT fit tyres until this is checked.

  • Fit the wheels and tyres to your vehicle using the standard mounting nuts and ensure you have at least 6 full turns once torqued. DO NOT use power tools.

  • With the wheels still off the ground, rotate the wheels to ensure that the wheels turn freely, and you can turn the steering ‘lock to lock’ without fouling the bodywork.

  • Once the car is lowered onto the ground, torque the wheel nuts to the correct setting. Then turn the steering ‘lock to lock’ once again to ensure that the tyres are not fouling against the bodywork.

N.B. Any larger wheels than standard wheels and tyres may require some bodywork modifications and or spacers, especially if the vehicle has been lowered or modified. Once you have completed these checks, please re-torque all the wheel nuts after 40 miles.

21. Disclaimer

  • IT IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE USER TO DETERMINE THE SUITABILITY OF THE PRODUCT FOR HIS OR HER USE, AND THE USER SHALL ASSUME ALL LEGAL, PERSONAL AND THIRD-PARTY INJURY RISK, AND LIABILITY AND ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS, DUTIES AND RISKS THEREWITH. AUTOBIONICS LTD CANNOT BE HELD RESPOSNSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO VEHICLES OR WHEELS THAT WE HAVE NOT FITTED OURSELVES. THE WHEELS WE SUPPLY HAVE BEEN DESIGNED TO FIT WITH A STANDARD UNMODIFIED CAR. THE FINAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SAFE AND CORRECT FITTING OF ANY REPLACEMENT WHEELS/TYRES ALWAYS REMAINS WITH THE USER(S) WHO ARE FITTING THE PARTS.

22. Important Information Summary

  • Auto Bionics Ltd is a company based on producing what we call a “prototype” or custom individually engineered and manufactured wheel. They are not intended to be mass-produced, high-volume manufacturing style wheels. Instead, they are low volume, high quality, individualised wheels made for the clientele who understands and appreciates this. They are not intended to compete with other wheel brands which may very well be produced faster and for less money. We choose to focus on design, quality, and service. Our production / manufacturing system is not designed for high volume or quick completion, and we’ve never advertised our wheels as this kind of product. For those clients under the assumption that we are operating with this intent and / or require a wheel that is comparable to others in terms of lead time and pricing, our process may not be best suited for this type of client request. Our clientele consists mainly of automotive enthusiasts who understand that quality takes time and who clearly can identify the differences between these wheels and others. They are not for everyone and are not intended for a wide audience. When ordering from Auto Bionics Ltd we prefer that you or your client fully understand this and are advised on our company policies, lead times and reasoning behind these details. We understand that some clients do not need anything more than what is normally offered by other wheel brands, and we respect the decision not to buy our wheels if this is the case.
