PORSCHE PDK INTEGRATION
OEM Dual-Clutch Transmission Technology
One of Auto Bionics' principal development programmes is the integration of Porsche's renowned PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung) dual-clutch transmission into applications beyond its original factory environment.
Rather than replacing the original transmission electronics or relying on simplified control systems, we retain the Porsche Transmission Control Unit (TCU) and develop the communication, calibration and control strategies required for operation with standalone engine management systems and bespoke vehicle platforms.
This approach preserves many of the sophisticated features that make the Porsche PDK one of the world's finest production transmissions, whilst allowing complete flexibility in engine choice and vehicle design.
